GOOD FENCES - Chelinda Lodge in Nyika Plateau - Malawi (Part 9 )

Now this is an ‘out of the box’ fence post today.  I had hired a guide for myself and for a good bit of the journey I was fenced in this vehicle!
That the best I could do today!  Sorry.

I hope that no one has keeled over at the shortness of this post.
On Saturday, I will show you some of the birds we found.

I am linking it to Tex's GOOD FENCES.

I hope you enjoyed it and many thanks for both visiting and your comments.

    1. I agree but that is what happens every time you go out on these roads!

  3. A hard working truck. And a very different fence.

  4. It looks so hot from your pictures so I can only imagine how fenced in you felt inside the truck! Hope the windows opened to let some cool air in!
The scenery is spectacular though and yesterdays post with the sunset was fabulous too.

  6. Ha Ha, nothing wrong with a short post! I always think it is fascinating to see the trucks in Africa, you look like you's have a great view of the animals and yet nicely well protected from the animals if needed :)

  7. Love your header, Margaret, what a bird! I'd love to drive that suv, although it looks expensive and a bit top-heavy, too.
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  8. Looks like it's been through a bit of dust on the roads. Reminds me of the old westerns and the stage coach rides for ladies in long dresses.

  10. Looks like you had lots of windows to poke your camera through Margaret? I'll let you off the fence joke just this once.

  13. I ALMOST keeled over, Margaret (teasing)! It probably is not out of the box for a westerner to hire a guide, or? It reminds me on our trip to China - everywhere we went, was by taxi (because it's not that expensive, and with trains you never knew if they would be in time) - had no time to explore rural areas, so am talking about city life. Looking forward to your pics!.

  16. Sometimes you do need those Land Rover type vehicles to get around in the bush.
Glad you had a great trip, Margaret!
    Have a Great Day!
    Peace :)

  18. Oh my you made me laugh today with your comment about keeling over! - That looks like a fun way to travel and what pretty countryside. I bet there was a fence in there somewhere.

  20. Nothing wrong with a liberal interpretation of the meme, you can't even see the fence in my post, but I swear, it's there.

    This is a fantastic view!
