WEEKEND REFLECTIONS - Infinity swimming pool at Ngala Beach Lodge, Malawi

Wouldn’t this be a wonderful way to relax, swimming in the pool at Ngala Beach Lodge and looking over the idyllic scenery.  Enjoy the view with these reflections of the trees in the pool.

I hope you enjoyed these two images.

Don't miss my other amazing post today - Baby Mouse born on lawn of house.

Thank you for visiting and also to those who leave comments.

Baby Moose on the lawn!

What would you think if you got this message one morning from an employee? “Hello, boss I cannot come in to work today.  There was a Moose born on my front lawn, and the mom won't let me out of the house!!!!” Look at ALL the photos.

That is exactly what happened.  This mother Moose picked a small, quiet neighbourhood and gave birth to her baby in this front yard just off John Grant Back Road, at 5:30 am.  This 12 hour old calf, was born in the middle of downtown Meaghers Grant, Nova Scotia, Canada.

A friend sent me these photographs the other day and I thought I would share them with you.

What an awesome place we live in to see such a sight!  I wouldn't want to go to work that day if these two were on my lawn. Would you?

Thanks for your visit and also to those who leave comments.

GOOD FENCES - At Ngala Beach Lodge,Malawi

All this week I have been showing you Ngala Beach Lodge and this is the view as it overlooks the grounds leading to the private beach.

Do you see the bird? It is a Little Bee eater.
Perhaps you will see it better from the cropped shot below however on Saturday I will be showing you many more photographs and video of it.

After a far too short a visit at this beautiful lodge, I am showing you a few fences as we were leaving the property.

Although we are leaving now, tomorrow will be the penultimate post from this beautiful lodge so thanks for visiting today.

Coffee at Ngala Beach Lodge, Malawi

Yesterday I showed you the birds I found at Ngala Beach Lodge and today I am sharing the photographs that will give you a small taste of this very well run lodge in a magnificent setting with its own private beach.

Although this Lodge is not open to day visitors, the owners invited us to have coffee and we were delighted to accept and were overwhelmed by the high standard of the lodge as well as the beauty of its surroundings.

At the entrance, Annika found a bird that was taller than her.

As we sank into very comfortable couches enjoying the freshly made coffee, we had this wonderful view to look at.

Annika found a wooden Hippo to ride on.

This is one of the beautiful comfortable and spacious bedrooms.
If you wish to see some more CLICK Nagla Beach Lodge

While I quickly explored around the beach area,
Daniel and Annika had a rest on the hammock!

I hope you agree with me that this is a beautiful lodge in a wonderful setting and tomorrow I will show you a few more photographs with fences in them.

Thank you for visiting and also to those who leave comments.

WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - BIrds at Ngala Beach Lodge

We now are travelling further north up Malawi and were recommended to stop at Ngala beach Lodge for coffee and for the rest of the week I will be showing you ALL the photographs I took there.  However today to fit into WBW I am showing you the birds I found on this short visit.

This is the Little Bee-eater.
I will be featuring it more on Saturday’s Critters post with stills and video.

It is worth looking at their web site, (Ngala beach Lodge) under News where you will find a very long list of birds found around this area.  A bird watchers paradise in more ways than one.

Masked Weaver

Reed Cormorant

I hope you enjoyed these few birds that I photographed at this Lodge but don’t miss popping in tomorrow to see how beautiful this place is and the coffee was wonderful also!
